Who is responsible?

What data do we use?

Why, and on what legal basis?

We use your data to answer your request, schedule appointments, prepare quotes and carry out assignments. This is necessary for an actual or potential contract, or falls within our legitimate interest in answering questions and keeping the website secure. We do not sell your data.

Who do we share data with?

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area.

How long do we keep data?

No longer than necessary for the purpose it was provided for, or as long as the law requires, for example for accounting.

Cookies and local storage

We store your cookie choice in your browser. Statistics and marketing cookies are currently switched off. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of the website.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or transfer your data or to restrict its use, and you can object to its use. Just send us an email. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the Spanish AEPD.

Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to quotes and assignments from Geense Media, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2. Quotes and assignments

A quote is non-binding unless it states otherwise. An assignment starts once you approve the quote or confirmation, for example by email. It sets out the work, schedule and price.

3. Working together

You provide the necessary information, access and materials on time and confirm that you may use them. Stated timelines are a guide unless we agree a fixed date. Extra work or changes outside the agreement are discussed in advance and may cost extra.

4. Payment

Payment is made as stated in the quote or on the invoice.

5. Cancelling or rescheduling

Let us know as soon as possible if you want to cancel or reschedule. We may charge for work already done and costs already incurred.

6. Use of the work

Copyright in designs, photos and videos remains with Geense Media unless agreed otherwise in writing. After full payment, you may use the delivered work for the agreed purpose. Geense Media may show completed work in its own portfolio and communications unless agreed otherwise.

7. Liability

We work carefully. Please check delivered work and report errors as soon as possible. Liability is limited to the invoice amount of the assignment concerned, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness and where the law does not allow a limitation.

8. Force majeure

In case of illness, outages or other circumstances beyond our control, we will work with you on a new schedule or solution.

9. Your rights

Statutory consumer rights continue to apply. We prefer to resolve any disagreement together first.
